Testing

Friday June 4th: Today the older athletes went to the Ottawa High Performance Center to be evaluated for strength imbalances and flexibility. The athletes where put through a battery of tests and the results showed that most athletes have a least one or two areas that they need to work on. The most common area of weakness across the board? Tight hamstrings. Thanks to John and Jay for taking the time to work with our team.

James touching elbow to knee.

Riel: "This snatch is too easy. I usually throw up 250-30lbs."

Aidan carefully placing his heel.

"Keep the stick perpendicular to the ground and touching your bum, upper back and head. Then do a split squat"

Some happy girls waiting to be tested.

Hamstring flexibility: the nemesis.

Get down and put your hands up!

Jay checking Steffan's shoulder flexibility.

Leslie isn't getting tested in this photo, she just stands like this all the time. It's kinda weird.

Seb leaning back.

Nansen was so good at this he actually fell asleep part way through. We get our full results from the testing this week!
